Development of a sampling concept for substitute fuels

As a result of the implementation of the requirements of the Landfill Regulation and the tight price situation in the energy market, the importance of using waste as a substitute fuel has increased significantly in recent years. Quality-assured substitute fuels can contribute to the substitution of primary fuels in processes of the basic materials industry (e.g. cement industry,...) and in the field of energy conversion (e.g. in power plants and waste incineration plants) (cf. BECKMANN et al. 2003).
