资源简介:
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the viability of utilizing jasmine tea residue as a substitute for traditional raw feed. Currently, animal husbandry is experiencing a shortage of feed resources in many developing countries. Tea residue can serve as a superior feed with crude protein and fiber compared to traditional coarse feed resources. To date, few studies in China and abroad have investigated the utilization of jasmine tea residue. The utilization of tea residue not only de-creases food consumption but also contributes to improving the environment. This study aimed to investigate the potential of jasmine tea residue as an unconventional feed option by examining its impact on the growth performance, antioxidant capacity, intestinal tissue morphology, and gut flora of geese. In conclusion, the jasmine tea residue diet can enhance the antioxidant capacity, development of intestinal tissue morphology and microflora without negative impact on growth performance. This study provides jasmine tea residue as a new feed resource for the sustainable and healthy development of poultry farming. The research determined the feasibility of jasmine tea residue in feed utilization, providing a scientific basis for its further scientific and rational use as a feed resource.Additionally, jasmine tea residue influenced the abundance of microflora that con-tained ARG, providing new insights into ARG reduction within the environment. Our findings demonstrate that jasmine tea residueis an effective and environmentally sus-tainable feed for geese.
