To understand the bacterial epidemiology of ESAKPEE isolates in an equine ICU a pilot study of two periods (Jan-Dec 2022 and June 2023) was performed during which patient and patient- bound environmental samples were obtained twice from selected patients, upon ICU admission and after 48 hours of hospitalization.
