FLIP modulates monocyte immunosuppression and selective resistance to chemotherapy

To investigate the genes differentially induced by c-FLIP up-regulation by lentivirus infection in monocytes from healthy donors We collected RNA from CD14+ cells isolated from buffy coats of healthy donors and infected for 4 hours by spin-inoculation with c-FLIP or Luciferase-encoding lentiviral vectors . Samples were then processed for total RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. Seven biological replicas (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) for Luciferase controls and four biological replicas (A, B, C, D) were used c-FLIP; for a total of eleven samples.
