This dataset collects water samples from 40 sampling sites spanning the upstream to downstream reaches of the Sunxi River Basin in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. The preset water quality monitoring indicators include: longitude and latitude, pH value (pH), temperature (T), electrical conductivity (EC), dissolved oxygen (DO), total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP), and chemical oxygen demand (COD). The specific detection methods for each indicator are as follows: pH value is measured via a pH meter; water temperature via a thermometer; electrical conductivity via a portable conductivity meter; dissolved oxygen via a portable dissolved oxygen analyzer; total nitrogen via ultraviolet spectrophotometry; total phosphorus via ammonium molybdate spectrophotometry; and chemical oxygen demand via rapid digestion spectrophotometry.
