The plant pioneer factor Lfy uses conserved trans kingdom chromatin remodeling mechanisms in vetebrates

Here, we show that the plant pioneer factor LFY, when introduced in zebrafish cells, is able to remodel chromatin by recruiting vertebrate chromatin remodelers, leading to activation of the transcription and demonstrating trans-kingdom ultra-conservation of interaction of chromatin remodelers and pioneer factors
