This dataset contains hyperspectral EELS data for regions of Apollo 17 soil grains containing or associated with vesicular nanophase metallic iron particles and iron oxidation state EELS standards used in the original article "Helium Reservoirs in Iron Nanoparticles on the Lunar Surface" by Brittany Cymes, Katherine Burgess, and Rhonda Stroud. The purpose of this dataset is to document chemical characteristics of lunar soil grains.
