The aim of this study is to comprehensively charatcterizethe transcriptional and epigenetic profile of circulating neutrophils from COPD patients and to explore correlations with neutrophils' functional dysregulation and clinical disease parameters. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of bulk RNA-seq data from circulating neutrophils purified from COPD patients and sex- and age-matched control donors.
