Using root endophyte high-throughput sequencing and metabolomics to investigate the mechanisms of melatonin and dopamine in alleviating waterlogging stress in apples

We waterlogged Malus hupehensis seedlings and observed the effects of exogenous melatonin or dopamine on root endophytic microbial community structure. Our results provide new insights into how melatonin and dopamine alleviate stress and provide a theoretical basis for synergistic beneficial microbial resistance to waterlogging stress.
