Intersection Risk Factors

This dataset was developed by the Transportation Planning Department the Atlanta Regional Commission to show safety risk factors in the Atlanta Region. The risk factors help measure the risk of severe Roadway Departure crashes, Intersection crashes, Pedestrian crashes, and Bicycle crashes on every road segment in the region. The risk factors include: Number of lanes Ownership AADT Posted Speed Limit Functional Classification Proximity to transit stops Proximity to frequent transit Proximity to multiuse trails Adjacent land use patterns Population Density Employment Density Environmental Justice score of area All risk factors are weighed equally in this analysis.
