Genomic data from Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae samples spiked with Mycoplasma species.

Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae and Mycoplasma species are significant pathogens in veterinary medicine, and their co-occurrence can complicate diagnosis. This project was designed to generate a reference genomic dataset from a controlled sample. DNA was extracted from an Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae veterinary vaccine that was intentionally spiked with Mycoplasma species and was sequenced using Illumina NovaSeq. This BioProject provides the raw sequencing reads from this sample, which can be used for the development and validation of metagenomic detection assays.
