Supplementary data for One Diet Does Not Fit All: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Gene–Diet Interactions on Cholesterol and Triglycerides

This dataset accompanies the manuscript One Diet Does Not Fit All: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Gene–Diet Interactions on Cholesterol and Triglycerides. It contains aggregated, non-identifiable study-level data extracted from eligible publications included in the systematic review and meta-analysis. Each record represents an interaction tested between a dietary exposure and a lipid-related gene (ABCA1, ABCG5, ABCG8, APOA5, APOB, APOE, CETP, or CYP7A1), with corresponding lipid outcome, p-value, and dietary classification (e.g., macronutrient, fat quantity, PUFA, MUFA, SFA, carbohydrate, protein). The dataset was used to perform meta-analyses of gene–diet interactions influencing total cholesterol (TC), LDL-C, HDL-C, and triglycerides (TAG). Only aggregated, non-identifiable data are included.
