MAIN ASPECTS OF THE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF PRIMARY HEALTH CARE NURSES

The medical patronage service in our country is distinguished by the fact that it is provided free of charge, and all segments of the population are fully covered by modern preventive health care. An analysis of the quality of nursing care was conducted using the method of expert assessment of the work quality of patronage nurses working in family polyclinics. The study was carried out in family polyclinics in Tashkent. The sources of information for studying various aspects of the activities of family nurses included primary medical records and data from a sociological survey of nurses. Appropriate measures for the effective organization of the medical patronage service were identified. Each patronage nurse should provide primary health care to six families per day and to 144 families per month. Monthly patronage is provided to lonely elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, pregnant women, young mothers, and children. A schedule has also been developed for medical examinations of young families, women of reproductive age, adolescents, and other population groups, as well as a monitoring system for vaccination and revaccination results. The procedure for a rating-based assessment of the effectiveness of patronage nurses’ work has been determined.
