The database presented contains temperature and relative humidity measurements obtained using an Onset brand HOBO U12-012 device installed inside three vehicles. The pilot project consisted of taking measurements over an experimental period of ten days, during which the devices remained inside the vehicles with the objective of analyzing the level of thermal stress experienced by the drivers during working hours in a Mexican tropical climate.
The measurement period took place in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico, during August 2023, which corresponds to the hottest period of the year. The variables included in this dataset are as follows:
• Internal temperature in °C (Temp_inside),
• Internal relative humidity in % (RH_inside),
• External wind speed in m/s (WS_outside),
• Solar radiation in W/m² (SolarRadiation_outside),
• External relative humidity in % (RH_out).
The external data corresponds to the weather station of the Faculty of Engineering of UADY.
