PGOUM 97. Remaining buildability in areas

Since the approval of the General Plan of Urban Planning of Madrid in 1997, the City of Madrid has been making available to the public the data on its development, with special emphasis on the dissemination of those related to the monitoring of urban areas. The report arises from the merger of the old reports of &quo;State of Development of the Areas of the General Plan ” and of “ and it incorporates some novelties that improve not only the available information but also allow a better understanding of the situation of the different areas of planning, with the location and concrete data on the available plots for residential, industrial and tertiary use in those areas that have completed their urban development. The new report updates the data on the administrative situation of the existing areas in Madrid, distinguishing the successive phases of urban development & Planning, Management, Urbanisation and Building, and provides information on land consumption during the year from the licenses granted. With the aim of enabling several readings ranging from the most general to the most detailed, the report contains plans, tables and graphs with totalised data for the municipality, as well as for the 21 districts, along with those more specific from the different areas, which are collected for the first time following a file format, which summarises the main milestones and dates of the administrative processing of each urban development along with the remaining buildability of the various uses.
