Preventing the loss of autonomy of older people

Despite the extensive production of parliamentary work, research and administrative reports published over the past decade, preventing the loss of autonomy still plays a marginal role in public policy. While the findings and actions to carry out effective prevention are widely agreed, the Court has sought to identify deadlock points, and to suggest levers for operational progress that would improve the lives of a quarter of the French population — almost a third tomorrow. The survey published today is ahead of the loss of autonomy, in the field of prevention, and makes six recommendations.
