资源简介:
We use the 3-D visible light radiative transfer package Simulated Weather Imagery (SWIm) to generate cloudless sky images during high sun, sunset, and twilight, solar zenith angles of 29, 88, and 96 degrees respectively, under stratospheric aerosol injection from the reference point of a ground observer. We consider three aerosol types: H2SO4, CaCO3, and diamond. We consider stratospheric aerosol loadings required to produce radiative forcings of -1, -2, and -4 W m-2. For comparison, we also consider a stratospheric H2SO4 loading and size distribution representative of approximate values measured 9 months after the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991. We use population density and AOD data to compute the distribution of AODs people experience and then simulate sky images for the 10th (AOD = 0.080), 50th (AOD = 0.223), and 90th (AOD = 0.657) percentiles of that distribution. The radiance and chromaticity data corresponding to the simulated images are presented here.
