Visium spatial RNA sequencing was performed on 16 human dorsal root ganglia (DRG) tissue sections collected from 7 different DRGs, from 6 human subjects with a history of diabetes. Human DRGs were recovered from organ donors and tissue samples were processed with 10X VISIUM. Raw seq files were run with 10X SpaceRanger to determine gene counts per barcode. Nageotte nodule and surrounding neuron barcodes were selected in Loupe Browser.
