Evaluation of transcriptomic profiles in pre- & post-heat shocked C.gigas mantle.

This experiment aimed to assess transcriptomic profiles of individual C.gigas oyster mantle tissue before and after a heat shock.Mantle tissue was sampled from each of three adult oysters, the oysters were allowed one week of recovery after initial sampling, and were then subjected to a heat shock of 40C for 1hr and additional mantle tissue was collected.
