Novel therapeutic strategy for intractable keloids: Suppression of intracellular mechanotransduction and actin polymerization via Rho-kinase pathway inhibition

The STB-1400 mechanical stretching device (Strex Inc., Osaka, Japan) was used to expose cells to cyclic mechanical stretching (maximum 20% elongation, 10 cycles/min, 0.166 Hz) for 24 h, thereby mimicking the normal respiratory rate of healthy adults.
