Material 1: an R script for calculation of the harmonic regression of the monthly layers of climate variables, to obtain a number of coefficients. The script has a variable that controls for the number of coefficients (between 5 and 7 is enough for a good adjustment).Sup. Material 2: the maps of predicted distribution of 7 species of ticks and 50 genera of hosts in the Western Palearctic, in GeoTIFF format. The maps correspond to the best model obtained by the combination of the algorithms MARS, SVM, and GAM.Sup. Material 3. an R script for calculation of the co-occurrence of hosts and ticks in each ecosystem.
