These form a separate series but have a close relationship with the In-Letters with cross-referencing in the Registers of each.Some minutes for 1826-1927 are connected to registered in-letters and put away with them in number order. Others are put away in registered minute number order in a separate bundle for each year, and have been shelved together NRS 909 [4/983-1072].Minutes for 1870-1915, are in separate bundles shelved with the registered in-letters of each year. After 1915 minutes are connected to correspondence and not put away separately.The following two letters have been added to M3739 (4/2316.3): Letter from J. Himnock, Agent-General for Emigration in Cork, to Sir Richard Bourke, 26 May 1836, transmitting a recommendation signed by members of the Emigration Committee and by clergymen of the City of Cork, for the young women emigrants aboard the "Duchess of Northumberland".All minutes are registered in the registers NRS 910, NRS 911 and NRS 912.See Colonial Secretary Correspondence Guide for an item list.Note:This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
