Movie Title Puns

Context
The data is based on the following paper on pun generation:

This data has been collected automatically from IMDB and Instagram.

Content
This dataset consists of two files:

popular_movie_titles.csv
humor_titles.csv
The first file contains a list of popular movie titles form IMDB. Their popularity is assessed based on how many votes they have got. The file has two columns, one for the movie title and another for the number of votes in IMDB.

The second file contains the original movie title, a punny version of it and the original Instagram post where the pun occurred. This data has been gathered and mapped automatically. For example:

This data can be used for humor/pun generation (like we have done) or for humor detection.
