16S V4V5 and ITS2 amplicon from soil communities in a mycorrhiza-removal experiment

The dataset comprises amplicon sequencing data of 16S V4V5 and ITS2 of soil communities in a plant removal experiment based on mycorrhizal status at a sub-arctic forest-tundra ecotone. Each sample was analyzed prior to the experiment and after two years of manipulation. In addition, root endophytic fungi were targeted with ITS2 primers on 27 plant species found at the site, both with and without preliminary bleaching to remove rhizosphere-associated fungi. 16S paired-end reads are raw except for demultiplexing carried out through Illumina's software, ITS2 amplicon demultiplexing was done prior to upload according to SCATA processing of the original .ccs read file.
