In traditional educational settings, teachers are required to review each assignment individually. When dealing with dozens or even hundreds of assignments, this process often takes several hours, making it difficult to deliver timely feedback to students. Additionally, learning situation analysis mostly relies on manual statistics, which is prone to data errors and fails to cover all dimensions of students' learning. This dataset enables intelligent collection and analysis of assignment data by printing dot matrix patterns on exercise books and utilizing supporting dot matrix pens, effectively addressing the aforementioned problems. 1. Solving the low efficiency of assignment grading Students use dot matrix pens to answer questions on exercise books printed with dot matrix patterns. The built-in camera of the pen captures the writing trajectory in real time, automatically converts it into electronic data and uploads it to the system. The system can instantly grade objective questions such as multiple-choice and true-false items; for subjective questions, technologies like keyword matching are employed to assist grading, and teachers only need to review and confirm the results. This greatly shortens grading time, allowing teachers to invest more energy in teaching. 2. Addressing the challenges of learning situation analysis Based on the collected assignment data, the system generates multi-dimensional learning situation reports covering aspects such as knowledge point mastery and answer duration. For instance, teachers can intuitively see that the error rate of a class on function-related knowledge points is as high as 60%, and promptly adjust teaching strategies to enhance relevant explanations. They can also grasp the learning status of each individual student, providing a basis for subsequent targeted tutoring. 3. Delivering multiple beneficial outcomes The system can customize personalized learning plans and error notebooks for students, and push targeted exercises to help them identify and fill knowledge gaps. It promotes the integration of paper-based assignments and digital technologies, accelerating education digitization. Long-term accumulated learning situation data forms educational data assets, which can be used for teaching research and product optimization, providing data support for the innovative development of education.
