the RNA-seq was used to sequence the cecal tissue of E. tenella infection group (JS) and uninfected group (JC) on the 7th day, and the DEGs were screened for functional and pathway enrichment analysis. RNA-Seq is an approach to transcriptome profiling that uses deep-sequencing technologies, and provides a far more precise measurement of levels of transcripts and their isoforms than other methods. This study systematically reveals the DEGs, significantly enriched items and KEGG pathways between E. tenella infection group and uninfected group using RNA-seq technology. The purpose was to further enhance our understanding of the molecular response process and immune response mechanism of E. tenella infection, to find the main DEGs associated with E. tenella infection and to provide a reference for breeding new varieties or new strains of coccidiosis resistance.
