Total RNA from abdomen and head of L. boulardi females and alignment of the RNA-Seq reads against the genome of L. boulardi Toti-like Virus.

RNA-Seq experiment using HiSeq technology (2x100bp) on total RNA extracted from the abdomen and head of L. boulardi females (lines NSref and Sref). The RNA from a pool of 30 heads and 15 abdomens was extracted using the NucleoSpin RNA kit (Macherey-Nagel). Two replicates were performed for each line (Sref and NSref) and each tissue (head/abdomen), totalizing 8 independent RNA samples. The paired-end libraries were prepared using the TruSeq RNA Sample Prep kit (Illumina) and sequenced using the chemistry v3.0 of Illumina HiSeq2500. The reads were also mapped onto LbTV genome using bowtie 2 version 2.1.0 in order to compare the amount of virus RNA in the two tissues heads and abdomens of females.
