Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at the A43, near Moulton, Northamptonshire, April to May 2021

This collection consists of images, reports, a vector graphic, GIS and site record data from an archaeological evaluation by Wessex Archaeology. Work occurred on a 9.9 hectare parcel of land situated west of the A43 and south-east of the village of Moulton, Northamptonshire from April to May 2021.The archaeological remains comprised pits, ditches, a posthole, the remains of a limestone quarry and a potential cremation grave. The distribution of the remains suggests a focus of archaeological activity in the central part of the site. All archaeological remains were undated and provided no artefacts or deposits suitable for environmental sampling.
