This project consists of the use of amplicon deep sequencing to determine the clone dynamics of P. falciparum in a Canadian returning traveller coming from a trip to Uganda and South Sudan. The heterozygous marker used was the conserved Plasmodium membrane protein (cpmp) to distinguish haplotypes. Multiple samples were taken on this individual during the course of infection while under treatment with Atovaquone-Proguranil
