资源简介:
Dataset AbstractThis dataset contains geophysical and satellite remote sensing data collected from 2018 to 2024 at the Barton Peninsula, King George Island, Antarctica. The data was acquired to comprehensively analyze the effects of climate change on the surface and subsurface environments. The main data components are as follows:Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) Data: This data was acquired at two-year intervals (February 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024) along a 40-meter survey line. A Wenner array was used with 40 electrodes spaced 1 meter apart.Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) Data: This data was acquired along the same survey line as the ERT surveys, at 0.1-meter intervals. A 500-MHz frequency antenna was used, and a common-midpoint survey was conducted to determine the radio-wave velocity.KOMPSAT-3A SAR (K3A) Data: This satellite imagery was used to analyze ground surface changes from 2017 to 2024. High-resolution multispectral imagery from the AEISS-A sensor was utilized, with data from the red (R) and near-infrared (NIR) bands used to calculate the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI).This dataset will be a valuable resource for researchers interested in polar cryosphere and geological studies. It provides foundational data for integrated analysis of surface-subsurface interactions and is expected to contribute to improving the accuracy of future climate change prediction models.
