The series was created to register those documents to which the common seal of the agency was affixed. The Seal Register was a summary record that documented the use and authorisation of affixing the seal. Examples of sealed documents were contracts, agreements, licences, leases, etc.This series recorded details of every instrument or document to which the official seal was affixed together with the date and the name of the signatories. Additions to the Register were tabled at each meeting of the Board of the Authority for ratification.
