PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate storage and transportation of a cellulose nanofiber obtained by regenerating a chemically modified cellulose after it is fibrillated. SOLUTION: A dehydrated cellulose microfiber of this invention is obtained as following: cellulose fibers are chemically modified by xanthate treatment， then the regenerated cellulose nanofibers are redispersed and then concentrated.
