The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Damage Proxy Maps (DPMs) covering Maui County, Hawaii due to wildfires that started in early August 2023. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency.
