Regions of market observation milk and dairy products, on the basis of which the regional producer prices milk are published. The regions are defined as follows: Region I: Geneva, Vaud, Freiburg, Neuchâtel, Jura and parts of the French-speaking territory of the canton of Bern (Administrative district of Berne Jura). Region II: Bern (except the administrative district of Berner Jura), Lucerne, Unterwalden (Obwalden, Nidwalden), Uri, Zug and part of the canton of Schwyz (district Schwyz, Gersau and Küssnacht). Region III: Baselland and Basel-Stadt, Aargau and Solothurn. Region IV: Zurich, Schaffhausen, Thurgau, Appenzell (Innerrhoden and Ausserrhoden), St. Gallen, part of the canton of Schwyz (district Einsiedeln, March and Höfe), Glarus, Graubünden. Region V: Valais and Ticino.
