Please see Chapters 4 and 20 for methods for assigning paternities of prairie dog juveniles. Weanling = juvenile that emerged from natal nursery-burrow. I considered data from the same male in different years to be independent. Frequency of 1 for 17 sired offspring is correct. These data used for Fig 13.5 in Hoogland 2026. This file ready for longterm storage on 25 Feb 2025. This figure DOES NOT include data from inferred cops--all data from UPD males whose cops were all observed UPD microsatellites were problematic. Hence samples sizes of paternities determined from microsatellites were small. These data checked TWO TIMES.
