Code for generating main figures in the paper of " Downstream vulnerability dominates water scarcity across High Mountain Asian river basins"

Overview This repository contains the MatlabR2020a used to analyze water availabllity in HMA and generate the figures for the associated research paper. The notebook is self-contained, with output figures displayed immediately following their respective code blocks to facilitate reproducibility and visualization. Contents The codes cover the following analyses: Figure 1: Summary of water availability (WA) for eight major river basins of High Mountain Asia (2003-2022), including uncertainty quantification. Figure 2: Drivers of changing water availability and evapotranspiration in High Mountain Asia. Figure 3: Water supply capacity per capita in the eight river subbasins.
