Survey data on the acceptance and use of digital technologies among architectural professionals and students in Türkiye (N = 616)

This dataset contains anonymised responses from an online survey of 616 architectural professionals (n = 531) and architecture students (n = 85) in Türkiye, collected between 16 January and 3 February 2026 through purposive and snowball sampling. The questionnaire covered:(1) demographic and professional characteristics (age, gender, education, professional status and experience);(2) a technology inventory recording the active use of BIM software, AI-based design tools, parametric design software, VR/AR technologies and digital twin platforms;(3) 23 five-point Likert items measuring performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, behavioural intention and routine use, developed from the technology acceptance model (TAM) and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Items were administered in Turkish; a codebook with item codes and English translations is included. Participation was voluntary and anonymous, all participants gave informed consent online, no directly identifying information was collected, and the study received approval from the Yildiz Technical University Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee.
