资源简介:
Purpose: To map auditory processing assessment procedures and results in individuals with voice disorders. Methods: This review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute’s guidelines, was described according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses – extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR), and was registered in the Open Science Framework (OSF). The search was carried out in electronic databases (PubMed, LILACS, Scopus, EMBASE, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library) and manually in the grey literature (MedRxiv, ProQuest, first 100 articles in Google Scholar, and experts' references). They included studies with adults with voice disorders whose auditory processing had been assessed. Two blinded authors selected the studies and extracted data on publication, sample, and auditory processing assessment procedures and results, resolving divergences by consensus. The data were analyzed descriptively. Results: Altogether, 1,258 articles were screened, of which six were included in this scoping review. They assessed 97 subjects of both genders, aged 18 to 58 years (mean of 37.52 years) with behavioral or organic voice disorders. Their auditory processing was assessed using behavioral and electrophysiological procedures. Temporal ordering with sound patterns (frequency, duration, and intensity) was the most assessed auditory skill. The findings showed altered results mainly in the temporal tests, although the studies had different assessment protocols. Conclusion: The mapping in this review showed that studies used various procedures to assess the auditory processing of individuals with voice disorders – mostly behavioral tests, with a higher frequency of temporal tests. They mainly assessed temporal ordering, considered the most altered skill in individuals with voice disorders.
