SHIFT Atlas of Vernacular Architecture - v0.5

SHIFT Atlas is an open pedagogical and research platform documenting climate-responsive architectural, urban, and territorial strategies across different environmental and cultural contexts. Developed within the SHIFT Academic Network, the atlas functions as shared infrastructure for comparative environmental observation, climate-responsive architectural education, and interdisciplinary design-research. The platform investigates relationships between: climate territory public space occupation environmental adaptation material systems architectural typologies thermal practices Atlas entries combine climatic observations, territorial analysis, architectural documentation, environmental representation, and methodological metadata. This archived release corresponds to Version 0.5 of the platform during active development and expansion.
