Multi-parameter monitors are instruments that perform real-time detection and recording of multiple vital sign parameters of patients. The scanning speed error obtained through verification and analysis can be used to evaluate the measurement accuracy of blood pressure parameters of multi-parameter monitors, which helps to assess the overall quality of multi-parameter monitors on the market, and provides reference and technical support for government supervision and medical institutions' procurement.
Set the scanning speed of the monitor to 25 mm/s, and input a standard square wave signal with an output frequency of 2 Hz and an amplitude of 1 mV from the simulator to the monitor. Then measure the display width corresponding to 4 complete cycles of the waveform from the displayed output.
The scanning speed is calculated via the following formula:

The scanning speed error is calculated via the following formula:
$delta = frac{V_0 - V_s}{V_s} imes 100\%$
