(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1, number 2829 here with notations and hyperlinks]. Poets who died between A.H. 1100 and 1200. 1624 Dîwân-i-Sâbiḳ (ديوان سابق ). Lyrical poems of Ḥâjî Farîdûn or Âḳâ Farîdûn Ḥusain, with the takhalluṣ Sâbiḳ, who went to India under ‘Âlamgir and was still alive in Lâhûr A.H. 1103 (A.D. 1691, 1692), as a short postscript of the poet himself, on fol. 209b, is dated Jumâdâ-alûlâ of that year. Sâbiḳ is mentioned in A. Sprenger, Catal., p. 123, l. 8 ab infra; in the Ṣuḥuf-î-Ibrâhîm, see W. This very rare dîwân, which is moreover the poet’s autograph, written in the twenty-eighth year of ‘Âlamgîr’s reign (A.H. 1096=A.D. 1685), is found in no other collection described hitherto, and contains: Ḳaṣîdas, tarkîbbands, and ḳiṭ’as, on fol.1b, beginning: مناديست در آنكو كه هر كه كشتۀ ماست بروز حشر زما خونها نخواهد خواست Some leaves are left blank at the end of this part, for future insertions.
