Founded in 1962 as the Houston Colt .45s, the Houston Astros is an MLB franchise that competes in the American League West Division. The team won its first and only World Series title in 2017, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-seven championships. During a July 2020 survey in the United States, six percent of respondents had a very favorable opinion of the Astros.
