This table contains forecast figures for the population of the Netherlands at 1 January by gender and age. In the table are also forecast intervals included. Changes by: 20 April 2011. — In the table were incorrect forecast figures for the number of men of 95 years of age or over, and as a result also for the number of men aged 65 year or older and the total number of men, over all listed in the table periods shown. This has been corrected. All other figures are unchanged. — The texts in the table have been clarified. Changes by: 17 December 2010. The forecast has been adjusted on the basis of the most recent insights, the forecast period now runs from 2010 to 2060. When will there be new figures? The new population forecast is due in December 2012.
