The map service represents the digital spatial data from the field of nature conservation of the Saarland.:The data base shows the location and spatial expansion of the fauna flora habitat areas of the Saarland according to the Habitats Directive (Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora) — Original map of the Saarland Habitats Report 2004. In some cases, the areas are also registered as bird sanctuaries at the same time.
