ICCS-CMIP6 Bias Corrected Rainfall V01

This dataset contains bias-corrected daily rainfall projections derived from multiple CMIP6 Global Climate Models (GCMs). The data covers the Indian subcontinent at a high spatial resolution, specifically processed for climate change impact assessment studies. The dataset is generated by KSCSTE - Institute for Climate Change Studies. The dataset is organized into two Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5) and is divided into three distinct climatological periods: Near Future (NF): 2015–2040 Mid Future (MF): 2041–2070 Far Future (FF): 2071–2100 Technical Specifications: Variable: Daily Precipitation (Rainfall) Unit: mm Format: NetCDF4 (.nc) with internal compression (zlib) Temporal Resolution: Daily Spatial Coverage: 4,964 grid points across India Processing: Bias-corrected using historical observed data (1951–2014) to ensure local-scale reliability.
