CAST-SF: archived ns-3.45 simulation outputs for LoRaWAN stress-regime evaluation

This Zenodo record archives the compiled simulation outputs and supporting artifacts underlying the CAST-SF manuscript submitted to Computer Communications. CAST-SF (Coordinated Assignment of Spreading Factors) is a network-server epoch planner for dense LoRaWAN deployments. The archive supports inspection and reproduction of the reported tables and figures from archived outputs only. It does not include ns-3 simulation source code, execution scripts, plotting scripts, or a runnable simulation environment. Included artifacts:- compiled result datasets;- stress-campaign outputs;- plotted data used for manuscript figures;- summary statistics used for manuscript tables;- metadata describing scenarios, campaign configuration, seeds, and columns;- a README and table/figure mapping file. Not included:- ns-3 simulation source code;- execution framework or run scripts;- plotting scripts;- a runnable simulation environment. Main campaign:The main simulation campaign consists of 2,160 ns-3.45 runs, covering 108 configurations with 20 random seeds each. The evaluated schemes are CAST-SF, ADR, gateway diversity, LoRaCode, Greedy Min-SF, and an EXPLoRa-AT-inspired airtime-equalization heuristic. Stress campaigns:The archive includes supporting outputs for gateway-load stress, multi-channel scaling, MAC-command staleness, SNR-estimation sensitivity, and load-balancing ablation. Simulation context:The manuscript uses ns-3.45 with the Signet Lab LoRaWAN module. The propagation model is a log-distance model with exponent 3.76, 1 m reference loss of 7.7 dB, and 6 dB shadowing. The scenarios include Urban, Rural, and Campus layouts. Urban uses a 1.5 km × 1.5 km area. Rural uses a 5 km × 5 km area. Version note:v1.1 — expanded artifact archive aligned with the current Computer Communications manuscript. Source code is not included.
