Agaricaceae s.l. Genome sequencing and assembly

This study aims to resolve the long-standing taxonomic instability in the family Agaricaceae s.l. by implementing a genome-scale phylogenomic framework. We generated and analyzed a large set of genome data from representative taxa to reconstruct a robust phylogeny, estimate divergence times, and establish a revised classification. Our results clarify deep relationships within the family, support the recognition of new and reinstated families and genera, and provide a stable evolutionary backbone for future taxonomic and ecological studies in Agaricaceae.
