Understanding the Distribution of Najas Species Using Environmental DNA

This study aims to detect Najas species using environmental DNA (eDNA) and to understand how water quality and landscape features affect their distribution. By revealing that forested shorelines and low nutrient levels support these rare plants, the research highlights eDNA as a practical tool for conservation and habitat management.
