In situ environmental, physiological, perceptual and behavioral responses of older adults during a heatwave (Montréal, Canada)

This dataset captures indoor environmental conditions, as well as perceptual, physiological, and behavioral responses observed during the June 2024 heatwave in Montreal (June 18–20, 2024), along with data collected one week before and one week after the event.

Data were collected from 26 older adults residing in social housing on the Island of Montreal using the HeatSuite monitoring kit. For further details about this technology, please refer to <a href="https://www.nature.com/articles/s41746-025-01608-z">this link</a>.

All shared data have been processed through multiple code pipelines to ensure quality and consistency. Following publication of the associated research article, a link to the full data analysis workflow (GitHub repository) will be made publicly available, along with the publication itself.

The dataset is organized into separate folders, each accompanied by its own codebook describing variables and data structure:
