FOCCUS WP9 MS9.1 Applications prototype: ESC2 - 2.1.1 - Supporting the blue economy of Norwegian fjords

This Zenodo item contains example output derived from coastal application 2.1.1 (See FOCCUS D8.1), as proof of prototype development. The figures are example outputs of normalised vertical distributions of simulated viral agents that could potentially affect aquaculture. Five different release positions in the Hardangerfjord are used in this example. The trajectory modeling framework OpenDrift is used on top of the Member State Coastal System Norkyst, the latter providing 3D ocean currents and hydrography. The PQ files are iused in the transport modeling. Norkyst is nested into the Copernicus Marine Service Arctic and Baltic regional forecasting systems. All simulations are based on hypothetical scenarios. The results shown are preliminary, and hence no rights should be attributed to them.
